Selenian dreams

As things down here on earth go from bad to worse, we can, thankfully, look to the heavens, or at least Florida, where NASA’s Artemis II rocket is finally ready to blast off and carry humans back to the Moon for the first time in more than half a century.
We’ve written before about my generation’s disappointment that the promise of the Space Age never really came to fruition, so it’s heartening to think that I might yet live long enough to see our species take a few more steps towards exploring the galaxy.
